Nice framing of the image. This piece appears to deal with the subject of nostalgia or more directly with categorizing of time; of our need to define the passing of time according to eras or epochs defined by elements of cultures - the 70s, the 80s, or in this case the 90s.
The title of this piece, Chronos and the mask worn by the figure in the piece suggests an association to the god of time. More to the point, it would seem that it is a comment about how we are all determined to control time , as best we can - by labeling it, structuring it, and measuring it, however abstractly. We are Chronos.
I am not a photographer so I can't comment specifically on the technique, but I find the lighting and setting to quite effective in conveying the theme.
